My name is Rachel. First and foremost, I am a child of God, failing and hopeful. I am the spouse/beloved of ‘Ratchet’ who is mostly referred to here as “Sweetie.” I have an amazing family–by choice and by blood–and two extremely attractive cats.
I love God and food, in that order. I have worked in either churches or restaurants all of my adult life, and find that the link between the two worlds is much smaller than you’d think.
I live in Minneapolis, MN, one of the greatest places on earth (no, I am not kidding).

Hi Rachel, I am currently dealing with the fact that I am bisexual and have admitted it to a total of 5 people, and am finding it such a struggle! I think this issue is so much more common than people realise, but still so taboo and not talked about! You can’t be a bisexual Christian. That’s an oxymoron. Sex is a false god.

I am not sure why you felt compelled to write your comment, but I assure you, I love Jesus, follow in His way, and am a bisexual woman who is married to a lesbian identified woman. The blog shares some of my personal thoughts and stories.
